Accommodation for travelling players
« on: December 10, 2010, 10:24:15 AM »
I'm starting a program where travelling players can have cheap accommodation. This is mainly for partners that need to travel to legal jurisdictions for the roulette computer, but anyone can participate. It's more for players that want to spend a month at a time overseas, which would be a lot of accommodation expenses. At this stage I'm just putting ideas together, and need input from people that it interests.

A few possibilities are:

* We simply rent properties outright, and players can stay there at a lower price. It wont be anything fancy - more a place to sleep and setup before smacking the casinos around a bit. The downside of this is sometimes nobody would be staying there, so it would be uneconomical.

* One of the players lives at a rental property, and the players pay them something like 50% of their rent for whatever time they stay there and it'll still work out cheaper. But it might be seen as a bit of intrusion of privacy so the host needs to be compensated well enough.

I need more ideas for it to be practical and effective. Thoughts anyone?

That would be great really when I went overseas I only just paid for my trip. I'll be following this thread with interest

The best situation is if you have a relo over there. But to be honest I wouldnt want a stranger in my house

The expenses is what keeps from from the computer. I cant play in my local casinos. Well I can but would rather stay on this side of the bars.

if there ever was a good solution to this then Im in.

Steve how about you do short term rentals and arrange the dates with a group of teams and apartments. If you do multiple rentals you might get a discount at least if they are with the same owner. Not a flash idea but at least it saves a bit.

I think this is a very good move. What are the best areas to play in? I am guessing europe because I heard it many times. In my country they opened casinos with many wheels but they are all new so it is harder. But the staff are also new which helps :D I would travel to other casinos if I knew they were better.

is this program only for partners or every player?

Any player can participate. There is no simple solution that suits every situation.

Best region is best not to discuss in public - see member areas to discuss there.

At this stage players are just collaborating on their own and making their own arrangements. If you are travelling to a certain region, just post in the players only sections where the public cant read it.

I do not lease them out. The closest is the new partnership options: see www.roulettecomputers.com/partners.html

To see what they do, see the video at http://www.roulettesystemanalysis.com/m/publicdemo.wmv

In case you wonder, no the devices doesnt need to sit on the wheel. That is done in the demo just so the camera can see it
